Current legislation and a competitive market encourages the industry to look at solutions in a new and unique way, and instead of creating highly specialised units within our own businesses, we have chosen to work together and focus on what we each do best. It was therefore decided to manage our respective businesses in a complimentary and collaborative way, at the same time offering clients a unique wealth and risk management experience.
This partnership is a co-operative agreement, which involves RBS introducing its high net worth clients seeking investment advice to Citadel. At the same time, Citadel clients requiring access to sophisticated and innovative insurance services for their assets will be referred to RBS.
Benefits to Citadel clients will include access to market leading policy wordings, tailored risk management solutions created especially for this market and bespoke service, while RBS clients will have exclusive access to Citadel investment advisors who are able to provide bespoke advice, fiduciary services, philanthropy, wills and trusts.
